Tools (9)
- getCompanyFundingRoundsGet a company's funding history from Dealroom: every round (venture, debt, grants, exits) with date, standardized stage, amount, post-money valuation and participating investors (lead flagged). Investor IDs chain into getInvestorProfile and searchCompanies(investorId) to map co-investor networks.2 credits
- searchDealroomEntitiesFind Dealroom companies, investors, people or universities by name or alias and get their Dealroom IDs. Entry point for every other Dealroom tool. Several companies can share a name: check domain and HQ before picking an ID.1 credit
- getEcosystemTimeseriesYearly ecosystem metrics from Dealroom for a location and/or tags: venture funding raised per year, plus year-end stock of unicorns, combined valuation and VC-backed companies. Applies Dealroom analysts' defaults so figures match Dealroom publications: VC funding = venture rounds only (no debt, grants), Mature and Outside Tech excluded, attributed by HQ; valuation / unicorn metrics exclude Mature, Outside Tech and pre-1990 companies and attribute by HQ or founding location. Resolve IDs with resolveDealroomFilterValues. The current year is partial.1 credit
- resolveDealroomFilterValuesResolve a location or a classification tag name into the Dealroom IDs required by searchCompanies and getEcosystemTimeseries (e.g. France -> 433, Fintech -> industry 126403, SaaS -> business model 83608). Without a family, tags are ranked the way Dealroom analysts pick them: typed families (business model, industry, technology...) before the flat, often near-empty `sector` tags. A broad vertical (fintech, robotics, health) should use the industry ID; a '<X> tech' sector tag is usually tiny. 'Europe' resolves to both a region (incl. Türkiye) and a continent: state which one you use.1 credit
- getInvestorProfileGet a Dealroom investor profile: type (VC, corporate, angel...), HQ, Dealroom rank, typical deal size, preferred round, investment count and total invested, exits and most recent portfolio companies. For a filterable portfolio (by country, industry, unicorns...) use searchCompanies with investorId.2 credits
- getCompanyProfilesGet full Dealroom profiles for up to 10 companies: description, HQ and founding location, website / LinkedIn / X handles, industries and technologies, funding totals, latest valuation, revenue, headcount and growth, web traffic, open jobs, patents, Dealroom Signal and current founders. Funding totals are all-time; use getCompanyFundingRounds for round-level detail.2 credits
- searchCompaniesScreen Dealroom companies by location, industry / technology tags, investor, labels (unicorn, vc_backed, rising_star...), founding year, funding, valuation and headcount, with total match count. Resolve location and tag IDs with resolveDealroomFilterValues first. Valuation and unicorn screens automatically apply Dealroom's default exclusions (Mature, Outside Tech, founded before 1990) and HQ-or-founding attribution, so counts match the Dealroom platform. Pass investorId to list an investor's portfolio.1 credit
- getCompanyPeopleList people currently working at a company according to Dealroom, highest-profile first (founders and leadership surface first): title, LinkedIn URL, X handle, founder labels (super / serial founder), companies they founded and past employers. Set foundersOnly to keep people with a founder track record: the company's own founders plus ex-founders on the team (acqui-hires, future spin-out candidates), whose other ventures are listed in foundedCompanies. LinkedIn URLs chain into LinkedIn profile tools.2 credits
- getDealroomNewsGet Dealroom's curated news for a company or investor, newest first: deal-focused summaries (raises, acquisitions, launches) with deal type and the companies / investors involved and their role. Mentioned entity IDs chain into getCompanyProfiles. Smaller companies may have no articles.2 credits
